From humble beginnings in an unforgiving environment, the idea for Camaartre came about in 2010.
Being influenced by the avant-garde styles of mixed martial arts fashion, Camaartre was set to come to fruition long before personalized clothing and corner shop printers rose to prominence. The garish designs which gained heavy exposure in the world of MMA served as inspiration for the unfledged brand and would be a staple in the design ideas of products to come.
As with most things in life, the start of this exciting project was not plain sailing. The naysayers and doubters would prove to be an uncompromising obstruction in getting the brand off the ground. Through many setbacks, knocks and disappointments, it was finally in 2014 where there was light at the end of the proverbial tunnel.
The visions and aspirations of Camaartre had finally been realized.
Striving to stick to the mantra of Quality over Quantity, it was always projected that there would never be ‘mass’ Camaartre pieces in circulation. A bespoke piece of artistry. Once sold, now consigned to the history books.
